SaliCAD is a new free electronic circuit and PCB layout design system with 3d support. It is intended for creating and editing schematic diagrams for electronic devices, automatically creation PCB elements placement, editing PCB elements placement, handle and semiautomatic wiring layout creation and edition.

Fully integrated system. It contains in one program everything you need to create electronic circuits and printed circuit boards based on them, including tools for creating, editing and managing library elements and 3d models.

Single project file. It contains all the information about the project. No external links, additional libraries or other settings. There is no danger that you will forget some important part of the project. Just copy one file, send it by mail or place it in the cloud and you can continue working on the project without worrying about dependencies. The library elements used in the project are also saved with the project. Therefore, the project will open in any place, even if you do not have any libraries.

SaliCAD has a unique property to keep the project in a synchronized state. With SaliCAD system you don't need to create links, export nets, binding updates and so on. The project is always synchronized. You add a net to the circuit - in the PCB immediately appears the corresponding link. You remove the component and it is instantly removed from the PCB. With this technology, modernization and upgrading of the PCB becomes as easy as never before.

A large number of masters can greatly simplify the routine work of creating libraries and 3d models. Follow a few simple steps provided with a preview or illustration and you will get the finished component.

Graphical editor modes are equipped with automators that seek to anticipate your actions and radically accelerate and simplify the creation and editing of both boards and circuits. For example, you start a net and SaliCAD offers the whole net.

Currently, there is no problem to order the production of the Board or the Assembly of the Board or even the configuration of the Board "turnkey". And SaliCAD has a complete set of provisioning tools such productions. There is a built-in export to Gerber for printed circuit boards and stencils to them. There is an export for automatic assembler machines, there is a BOM shaper and a list of components.

SaliCAD creates and maintains a single library of components at each workplace. There is no need to deal with "connections" from different files anymore, you do not need to remember which library file contains this or that component. SaliCAD knows about all the components from all the projects you have ever opened. Any new components are automatically placed in the library. You can also organize a shared local library for several developers, for this it is enough to place it on a shared resource, for example on a local server. In addition to the local library, SaliCAD "out of the box" supports a single central repository, which includes all components from all developers. There is no longer a need to create components that have already been created by your colleague at the next table or an engineer unknown to you on the other side of the Earth. All this brings collaboration to a level never seen before, significantly speeding up and simplifying the work of an engineer.

SaliCAD has powerful search tools in the library. You can search for components by name, by piece of name, by manufacturer, etc. the Library has a built-in hierarchical system of component categories, which allows you to narrow the search to any category in the hierarchy. SaliCAD also provides search by component parameters, including comparison operations.

SaliCAD is a cross-platform system. There are versions for popular operating systems. Offline installer allows SaliCAD once you download and install on many computers.

SaliCAD has an advanced built-in detailed help system for all aspects of the work. Built-in offline training videos help to visually understand the principles of work in SaliCAD and master the system in the shortest possible time.

SaliCAD is conceived and initially implemented as a fully international system. Different languages are already built into the program and do not require any additional downloads.
